Claude Code Essentials

Claude Code is the terminal-native coding agent that pivottoai uses as the default build environment at every hackathon. If you arrive without knowing how it works, you will spend the morning catching up instead of building. This course closes that gap.

You will install Claude Code, configure it against a real repo, learn the permission model, understand how it reads and edits files, and practice the daily loop of plan, execute, verify. You will also learn the common failure modes and the escape hatches that every experienced operator has in their muscle memory.

This is a prerequisite for the intro hackathon. It assumes you have completed AI Fundamentals for Builders, or that you already know what an LLM is.
